There has been an ongoing cult war between rival cult groups in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
The clash started few days ago but intensified on Thursday where it claimed the life of a promising young man.
The man, identified as Innocent Prince, was allegedly shot and killed while going about his normal duties.
The clash is between two yet-to-be-identified confraternities in Jenta Apata, Jos.
The shooting and killing of Innocent Prince caused serious pandemonium as people, including businessmen, women, boys, girls, children and even animals scampered for safety.
Cult related activities, shootings, killings and broad day robbery in the state is becoming worrisome to residents as the people are calling on the state government to do something to arrest the situation before it gets out of hand.
